The "Hard Body" E-Series Collection features an Epiphone "first" -- a string-through body design. With the strings anchored through the body of the guitar, from the bottom, this new design allows for maximum sustain, resulting in a guitar that just sings.
The three guitars in the "Hard Body" series feature aggressive new body shapes based on classic guitar designs. They include the Demon, which is based on a modified Flying V (offset); The Beast, based on a modified Explorer; and the Slasher, which is a modified Firebird.
Each guitar features a bolt-on neck with a super slide satin finish for extremely fast action, new "E-Series" Ultra Hot covered humbucker pick-ups with the E-logo, on-board effects with surface mount electronics, and each is available in 3 metallic colors.
